LSM E-News - May 2019

Congratulations to LSM Class of 2019 Graduates!

On Thursday, May 2, at the College of Southern Maryland's Prince Frederick campus, the 36-member LSM Class of 2019 concluded their nine-month journey with the facilitator who launched them on it last September (Eliot Pfanstiehl). The nonprofit projects that the class worked on during the year were presented, with the nonprofit sponsors there to celebrate their achievements. Pictured: the full class poses as "the best class ever!", Sam Baldwin LSM'16 (incoming president of LSM Board of Directors) gave the class its graduating charge, 2019 Class Speaker Mike Bellis received his certificate, and members of the "Girls on the Run" project team donned their running capes for their project presentation.  Photos by Sarah Ehman.

Finalize Your Foursome for Golf

It's not too late to sign up your foursome for the 7th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 7 at Breton Bay Golf and Country Club. The club is located at 21935 Society Hill Road in Leonardtown, and the tournament is set from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Foursome price of $500 includes 18 holes of golf, putting contest, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks, door prizes and overall awards!

LSM Alumni: we could use a few more volunteers to make this day run smoothly. There are still a few sponsorship opportunities left as well. Consider helping out as a volunteer or sponsor for this important annual fundraiser for LSM.

Stay Connected with Alumni Association & Yearbook

Did you know that you are not automatically signed up for the LSM Alumni Association? The association is a great way to stay connected to all the people you met during your classes, and it brings together all of the previous classes into one LSM family.

We host everything from networking to social events that association members can attend at no cost, and we help ensure that the benefits of being a part of LSM continue by keeping us all in touch. You get reduced admission to special events, and membership to the online portal, plus access to exclusive events that are just for alumni. Your full information will be included in the yearbook directory so you stay on the radar of your fellow graduates.
