LSM Welcomes New Board Member from St. Mary’s

LEONARDTOWN, Md., December 13, 2016: The Leadership Southern Maryland Board of Directors has announced the addition of Linda Colina, a graduate of the Class of 2016, to its board of directors.

“Southern Maryland enjoys a tremendous quality of life and is a vibrant region of engaged citizens, government, industry and nonprofits,” said Colina. “I am excited to join the Leadership Southern Maryland board to support current and future LSM members in their pursuit of the many opportunities to improve the integration of individual and group efforts to promote the traditions which contribute to our community and furthers our diverse and growing economy.”

Colina, of St. Mary’s County, was the President and CEO of Technology Solutions, Inc. (TSI), a small 8(a) woman-owned business providing program management to government and commercial clients from 2002 through 2012. Born in Oceanside, California to a military family, she has lived across the United States, including Puerto Rico, finally moving and settling in Southern Maryland in 1997.

Colina first became active in the community as the Special Assistant to the Chair of the Southern Maryland Workforce Investment Board from 2001 to 2003. She has supported several local political and judicial campaigns, is on the Advisory Council for the St. Mary’s Juvenile Drug Court and the Board of Directors for Healthshare of St. Mary’s. Colina is also a volunteer and fundraiser for the Historic St. Mary’s City Foundation and Historic Sotterley Plantation.
